Help & Advice:
Fitting Godflex Polyurethane Bushes:
Proper installation is essential to ensure the performance and longevity of your Godflex bushes. Please read and follow the guidance below carefully before fitting. Failure to follow these recommendations may result in premature wear or damage, which is not covered under warranty.
1. Check Sizing Before Installation:
Many Godflex bushes — including anti-roll bar, rear beam, and front control arms may have variants — are available in multiple sizes. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that the correct size has been selected for their vehicle. If an incorrect dimension is chosen (e.g. too large or too small), this can cause play, binding, or premature fatigue. Godflex cannot be held liable for damage caused by incorrect selection or installation, and any applicable warranty or return claim may be void.
2. Greasing:
Where required, Godflex supplies the correct white silicone grease with each kit, and in many cases, bushes are lightly pre-lubricated before dispatch. Before installation:
Correct lubrication is essential for optimal performance, longevity, and to minimise noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH).
3. Torqueing and Fitting:
When installing Godflex bushes:
This allows the bushes to sit in their natural position and prevents preloading. Torqueing components while the suspension is hanging can cause incorrect bushing alignment, resulting in premature wear or failure. After fitting, always carry out a four-wheel alignment to ensure the suspension geometry is correct and that no additional strain is placed on the new bushes.
4. Recommended Installation Practices:
We strongly recommend that all Godflex bushes are fitted by a qualified technician or by an individual experienced in polyurethane bushing installation.
Use the correct press tools and equipment where necessary.

5. Check surrounding components
When fitting new Godflex bushings, it’s important to inspect all surrounding suspension components to ensure they’re in good condition. Worn ball joints, tired control arms, damaged mounting points, or failing drop links can all place excess stress on fresh bushings, leading to premature wear or reduced performance. Before installation, check for play, corrosion, perished rubber, or any looseness in connected parts. Replacing or repairing these items at the same time helps the new bushings perform as intended and ensures a smoother, safer, and longer-lasting suspension setup.
6. Disclaimer
Godflex components are manufactured to precise tolerances and tested for performance and durability. Correct selection, preparation, and installation are the responsibility of the installer.
Improper fitment, incorrect torqueing, or failure to follow the above guidelines may result in premature wear or damage, which is not covered under warranty.
